Veterinary surgeries up and down the country are helping however they can in the fight against dog theft.They too have their own pets and know just how serious it is. They have owners calling them to see if their pet may have been handed in, or if not, ask if they can post on their social media pages to help raise awareness, in the hope they will get their pet home where they belong.
Vets have also seen an increase in requests for pets to be neutered, as more and more people fear their pet may be stolen only to be used as breeding machine to make thieves money.
With this in mind, vets have reached out to Sash-Tag for help identifying these pets as neutered.
